Social medias and the promotion of an ideal of the unreal couple

We've seen them all in our news feed. These perfect couples; beautiful, living mainly around a huge swimming pool, or in their huge modern kitchen but we can also find them among dolphins and turtles in the Bahamas. In short, these couples who are so perfect and who give us the image of an unreal couple but which makes us all drool. Indeed, these couples of Instagram so perfect really gives us the impression that our life is null and without interest...

In fact, we all have a share of jealousy towards them, because everything looks so simple, their lives look like a vacation that will never end. Even the reality TV couples make us want to, they post pictures of their huge house with their three dogs, their beautiful cars and their new baby who already looks like a future model when he is not even one year old.

But what I'm about to tell you might make you feel better. In reality, those perfect couples we live with via social medias don't live without Instagram, Facebook or Twitter. Imagine, you go on vacation with your lover, but he barely speaks to you, too busy taking pictures of you, him, the plane window, the beach, the dish you are going to eat ! Can you imagine yourself living with someone who spends more time making stories and taking pictures rather than living in the present moment in your company ?? For my part I think I'd rather stay in my cool little life than live it aha. Behind every great Instagram influencers is the Instagram spouse. A person with a hell of a lot of patience for taking pictures and inevitably, very little free space in his or her phone. And yes, true love is about deleting a few applications to make room for more pictures of your significant other.

Let's not think about the permanent work of these influencers. Think of their relationship and their private life, which literally is no longer private ! These are couples who can no longer have little secrets. We know everything, because they show us everything and in the long run it must be a burden for their couple because everyone would like to feel free with their spouse to do what they want, to go on holiday without feeling obliged to share it with the whole world. Yet that's what influencers live permanently.

Finally this race for perfection can be a waking nightmare. So don't be envious dear Peache'z, because your life with your soul mate is surely more joyful and real than all those Instagram couple goals. Because you have the choice to show it but you also have the choice to keep it to yourself.
